happy christmas eve!

well, plans have changed again. we're still in vang vieng, you just can't get away. we're spending christmas at our guesthouse with a bunch of other westerners, this girl becky is cooking us this big ol' christmas feast - her and shea are going to the local market this afternoon to buy the goods. we saw a guy plucking a chicken on the street, and it occured to us that whatever turkey we buy probably won't be a butterball, all packaged in plastic. should be interesting.

i went tubing again yesterday, shea had a day to herself by the river. the tubing is just too much fun, especially when you're with daring, fun people who do all the swings and trapeezes (i just drink and watch). we'll be heading into vietnam on the 26th, our time is ticking away!

well i'm horribly hungover today and plan on going to have a nap by the river in a hammock. my 31 year old liver just can't take this craziness. we've met some really awesome people though, our favorite being nick and debs, this hilarious couple that we met on the slowboat. they're always up for fun and are just fantastic, genuine people...we're glad to be spending christmas with them here. we said goodbye to the others this morning, it was kind of sad, but that's travelling. we've replaced them with ben, this english guy who's good fun on the swings. we're going to tube again christmas day, as a present to us all. in santa hats - photos will be coming.

merry christmas eve everyone.

xoxo
